3x5" index card divider, caran d'ache neocolor II wax crayons
THE DAILY PROMPT: Decorate your card with coffee/tea rings from the bottom of your cup.
Are you getting wrapped up in what to put on your index cards? After 27 consecutive days of creating an index card, you might be running out of steam.
But that is ONLY if you define it that way. If you forget that it's a blank canvas. It's not going to the Smithsonian. You can do anything with it. There is no requirement. There is no expectation. Your cards don't have to relate to each other. if you started a series and have exhausted the idea, start another.
SIXTY-ONE cards. Room for lots of play. Lots of series. Lots of experiments. Lots of words.
Do something ridiculously simple.
Do something ridiculously complex.
There is no need to give up the process. You have 100s of canvases ahead of you in your artful life. Keep going.

Such beautiful circles. Love those crayons and I need to play with mine more often. Whenever I use them I remember how much I enjoy them.

On a few days this week I've felt like I was running of a steam, but I persisted anyway and I'm glad I did! It is so great to see all of these people making their index cards. I don't have time to check out all the links but I do always visit at least a few and leave some comments. Everyone is so talented and is making such great art!
