No doubt the swirlies in the margins of your staff meeting notes and the 3D hearts scribbled on the phone with Aunt Jemima are cool. But if you've run out of designs to draw, it's time to expand your doodle repetoire, starting with an inspiration search. Keeping in mind the copyright laws, we need to find inspiration and use it as a base, not to duplicate.

Well! That should keep me busy, lol.
Managed to get some photos of patterns yesterday - took a while for me to get my eye in and be inspired. Now I've just got to work with them :-)

Sam, Yes I knew you didn't have enough on your plate so I thought I'd distract you with more, more, more. I think it is a good point that it does take a bit of time to train your eye to look for patterns. To see diagonals criss-crossed instead of the back of a bench. To see repetition in lines like supermarket carts!
