Altered Book: green.pink rev 1.1

20x12" art journal pages from my altered book project "tekenfilm" plus detail of pink graffiti background.

For the third day of the first annual NaNoJouMo (National NonStop Journaling Month) at D'Blogala I did another page inspired by our summer visit to Amsterdam. The first layer was gesso, leaving some of the cartoon style line illustrations of the children's book (that is really the coolest thing about altering a book, leaving bits to see). Added Golden Fluid acrylics, neocolors, doodles. The experiment here was to get a graffiti look and I like how it turned out. This reminds me of the urban feel (to me) of Rev 23/30 Documented.
