Altered Catalog: Rev 22/30 Do Something

I find myself hesitant to write on art journal backgrounds. I love the look of the pages without words, so I leave many "unwritten." But this week I focused on journaling! Here's the first of two backgrounds I journaled this week.

This is about doing not planning or thinking or researching or reading! We spend a lot of time getting our stuff organized, refining our to do lists and Outlook calendars... what does it matter if you are not accomplishing what is most meaningful to you?

If you want to make time for your art and meaningful work, check out 43 Folders and the timely focus on finding the time and attention to do your best creative work.

I couldn't agree more! I have a whole journal that I love the backgrounds so much I can't write anything on them. Your journals are awesome!!

It's interesting how we develop a page to be a background yet love it for what it is!
