Art = Happy
Mon, January 4, 2010 at 06:00AM "Never imagine yourself not to be otherwise
than what it might appear to others
that what you were or might have been
was not otherwise then what you had been
would have appeared to them
to be otherwise."
~Lewis Carroll

It took me many years to see that if spend time on art|creativity every day I am happier. And isn't that the idea? Because if I'm happier everthing else goes more smoothly. I invite you to think about the value that creativity brings to your life. Are you happier when you draw, knit, write, create stuff? Please join me in spreading the word that doing art makes for a happier life. Each month, you can take the Creative Experiments Challenge to add more creativity into your days. Pop over to the creative experiments for the current month and get rolling!
You are welcome to grab one of the art=happy badges below.

All that I know is that I've very UN-happy when I haven't had time to create! Hugs, Terri xoxo
Tammy, You're back! Hope you had a nice little break! Just grabbed your badge, love it! But where's the yellow one?? LOL!!!
Oh, how true! I have been away from creating for awhile and finding it very difficult to get back in the groove....even though I am not happy when I don't do art.
Thank you for the badge....I'll proudly display it on my blog.
I so agree. Art = happy. Thanks for these badges. I grabbed one and will post it on my blog.
Eden, So funny that you asked about a yellow badge, as I spent quite a bit of time TRYING to make a yellow badge but for reasons unknown to me, the Photoshop gods will not allow it. Learning curve.... ~ Tammy
I am so so so bad at these challenge things, but I am hoping to give this one a shot. January may be messy for me because we are moving from Florida to Alaska, so not much art will happen, I'm afraid. But I will try. Thanks for the inspiration!
All: I've added two new badges in rainbow colors ~ making badges is helping me learn Photoshop! ~ Tammy
Ok Tammy, now you've done it! You really have! I thought it would be
so easy for me to pick my badge, I'd just go grab the YELLOW,
but now you've made me decide!
I guess it'll be an eeny-meeny-miney moo decision!
These are uber cool :D :D
Very exciting. Great challenges - make me accountable and give me reason to do what I want to do!
Still working out kinks to get my yellow badge on my blog. Creativity -yes Technology-not so much!!
I LOVE this new badge (the bright one!). Great set of challenges for January, too.
I love these...it makes me happy just to look at them!
I am just learning the joy of this discovery so I'll be putting up one of your wonderful badges on my blog to remember it. Being creative doesn't solve all my problems but it makes me so much more content and distracts me when I'm stressed or annoyed. And strangely enough I seem to get so much more other stuff done if I'm regularly creative. I gives me more energy even though I'm setting aside more time to be creative. It's like magic.
