Art Journal: Spring

"Some people are still unaware that reality contains unparalleled beauties.
The fantastic and unexpected, the ever-changing and renewing
is nowhere so exemplified as in real life itself."
- Berenice Abbott

9x12" loose art journal page, watercolor paper, collage, fluid acrylics, neocolors, fiber paste

When I was painting grunge backgrounds the other day, I found an unfinished collage with my loose art journal pages... so I had to add some color and move it forward. And here are the results. I started with a mixture of red and magenta, then added some green to the page, and then it looked rather christmassy, so I thought that orange-yellow might be a good neutralizer. But really... I don't love the colors... and that is why there is ALWAYS room for another layer in art journaling! So another layer, and a quote, and... one never knows.

It might need some purple and some glitter! Glitter often helps if you ask me. It doesn't look too Christmassy to me...
