So big. So fun. First layer was simply lime acrylic paint; the next layer was collage. Somewhere, there will be journaling. Or maybe in the little tea bag pocket I attached!
A note about brayers. For this project I used disposable mini paint rollers from Home Depot. It's technically not a brayer, but it does roll around. It's fuzzy so it absorbs paint and so if you want to create grunge ffects with a semi-dry brayer, it's not feasible. The handles are cheap plastic, so they would not take force. I will stick with Speedball Soft Rubber Brayers; I have 3 of the 2" brayers, so that I can work in multiple colors at once. When I had just one, I washed quickly w/dish soap, easy peasy, then switched colors.

i couldn't agree more with the #1 habit of creative people - but with little kids around, it remains a dream. maybe i'll realize that habit in 20 years or so!
