Batik & Plaid Backgrounds

Saturated color. Everywhere.

9" x 12" heavy back cover from a watercolor pad

These pages were created with a brayer, fluid acrylics and matte medium. The paint on the batik page was placed in gobs and then rolled the brayer horizontally or vertically. The paint on the plaid page was applied as in Plaid Backgrounds with Acrylics. I like the details of the pages a great deal, so I might cut them into either ephemera for art journaling or cut this abstract art into 1.5" x 2.5" artist trading cards.
