building a rainbow {5 days of color}: brown or grey

[PAGE DOWN to GO TO THE LINKY LOVE]

We're building a rainbow!!!

{the details are here in this post}

Create art in one color each day this week: an art journal page, a sketch, a doodle, a painting, a mixed media work, embroidery, crochet.

Here's where you go to add a link to your art for each color - there are linky lovies on each page.

DECEMBER 8: PALE PINK or SALMON

DECEMBER 9: LEMON YELLOW or CHARTREUSE

DECEMBER 10: PERIWINKLE or LAVENDER

DECEMBER 11: BROWN or GREY

DECEMBER 12:  RAINBOW!!!

BROWN!

{our color hostess is Carlene, so go check out Carlene's introduction to BROWN}

my page for brown, in the 5x8" moleskine, with pitt pen and watercolors

tried to create a variety of browns by mixing varioius colors

GREY!

{Nathalie has been crowned Queen of Grey today, so go check out her intro to GREY}

watercoloring over pitt pen in the 5x8" moleskine... i used payne's grey, black and a touch of indigo

Please post your link(s) to your artwork in BROWN and your artwork in GREY

(you can link twice, if they are in separate posts), as we add funky colors to our rainbow. {please link to the exact post, not the blog home page}

While I have enjoyed all the posts, I really love today's one. So simple and effective - I must go and play! I'm definitely not in a brown funk, in fact my grey matter has been stimulated!

Yeah! I finished my brown artwork today. I know it's getting to that busy time of the year but I think some time for art is keeping me sane. Love the brown watercolor and it's variety.

Love the grey boxes and the brown stripes! Inspiring indeed!
