When you're doing these watercolor pages, do you wet the entire page to get some of the effects that show? Your work always have a lot of light/dark color variation and I can’t always achieve that effect on my pages.

{Tammy}: Janice, I usually don't wet the pages before I paint. However I do sometimes... for example I painted water on the pages before doing the stripe practice a few weeks ago at http://daisyyellow.squarespace.com/vividlife/watercolor-line-work.html.
