Found Stamps

Stamp or stencil with "found" objects to add unique and random features to your art journal.

The cobalt blue circles framing "Scatter Joy" were made with a wine cork. Just dip a wine cork in gesso or acrylic paint and roll sideways for the look of tree bark or stamp with the top of the cork for a weathered circle. The white and blue lines were made with the edge of a plastic card dipped in acryclic paint and gesso. This is a great way to make lines for journaling.

The circles in "Circuitis" were made by stamping with lids dipped in acrylic paint. Irregular circles can be stamped with water bottle lids, play dough lids, the top edge of measuring cups, nail polish bottles.

The rounded turquoise boxes in "Just Another Busy Afternoon" were made by putting a swatch of cotton needlepoint canvas on paper and sponging paint through to get a gridded look.
