Glaze Pen Masking I

The experiments continue. The paper-supply catalog I'm altering has several fold-out pages. I attached cardstock to the catalog and doodled with a clear Sakura glaze pen. I dabbed watercolors with a sponge. The center and right pages absorbed too much water and started separating from the catalog, so I tore off the cardstock leaving the catalog pages with shreds of remaining cardstock. I switched to Golden fluid acrylics. Added turquoise dots using an empty pill container, and yellow-green circles with a lid. Grabbed a few reds, quinacridone magenta, cobalt blue, some yellows, etc. and pushed them around with a gift card. The doodles almost shine through! At some point, I'll add to this background ~ I'm enjoying the vivid colors and swirlies.

This is a wonderful experiment! The colors are beautiful and I like the idea of using the glaze pen for a resist. OOOOO! I gotta go pull out my pens and watercolors... ; )
Very cool!
