House Inspiration

"There are random moments - tossing a salad, coming up the driveway to the house, ironing the seams flat on a quilt square, standing at the kitchen window and looking out at the delphiniums, hearing a burst of laughter from one of my children's rooms - when I feel a wavelike rush of joy. This is my true religion: arbitrary moments of of nearly painful happiness for a life I feel privileged to lead."

Another awesome mosaic, Tammy. Love the "thoughts of home" theme!!! Hugs, Terri xoxo

I adore this part of the quote: "nearly painful happiness for a life I feel privileged to lead"... I am feeling this way a lot lately. How did I get so lucky to have all this love and abundance around me? It makes my chest hurt. That's why I made the "Fly Away Home" glass pendant - to hold onto those arbitrary moments of magic, as if we could enclose them in glass. Thanks for including my work!
