Hanna, a tremendously creative girl from Sweden who shares the happiness of creating art on her blog iHanna {if you click, you'll find that it's temporarily down, but that won't hold us back from seeing Hanna's happy-inspiring art work}
♥ ♥ ♥ iHanna's Index Card Project ♥ ♥ ♥
With the Daisy Yellow ICAD Project I am finally finding a use for index cards! A little fun nudge like that and I'm on my creative summer journey. Each day I take one card from a pile of thrifted index cards that has been in my stash of collage papers for quite a few years now. And I am filling these index cards with collage and acrylic paint. Random bits of pretty papers, magazine images and washi tape. And oh yes, words. I love words.

On the back I write a short note about my day. It becomes a poem, its like a daily poem exercise. I think it has to do with the space limitations... I write differently, and with more substance in each word. I love how a new space/format will change the artistic outcome.
The server where my blog is hosted has crashed (gah!) and I’m not sure when it will be back up, but I will be tweeting happy tweets when it's back! {editor's note: you can also find Hanna at Flickr, so let her know you stopped by} A blogger without a blog is like a bird wihout wings, and I feel a bit lost. In the meantime, Tammy offered me to be guest writer at Daisy Yellow (one of my favorite blogs out there). Thanks Tammy - now I feel better! /iHanna

WOW, they are gorgeous! Both yours and Tammy's efforts (and her daughter's efforts) make my own index cards pale into an insignificance of crap! I shall up the ante! Thanks for these beautiful things!

Wonderful. Sorry the server is down.
Love the colors and ideas.
That's a wonderful thing about our art blogging community: we help each other out!
Tammy and Hanna, you are both great inspirations to me. You both keep me going, in your own way, when I'm feeling low or blocked. One of my dreams is that we can all get together for tea/coffee and art... Maybe one day!
Hugs,
Sophie
The 'Net is a better place with blogs like yours and Hannah's, thank you.
Computer data is never 100% secure, so I encourage people to have real paper books made from their blogs. They will still be around for our grandchildren to read.
