Art Every Day Month continues! I'll post with a day lag, considering the art is usually done at night, photographed the next morning, cropped, uploaded, post written. The challenge began on the first of the month with Inked Mandala (Part 1). For day 2, I added simple color to this mandala with a #4 flat white sable brush dipped in J. Herbin Rose Cyclamen fountain pen ink. This is part of the square mandala series in an 8x8" Clairefontaine cold press watercolor journal. For the tiny circles I used a Rapidograph technical pen with a .35 nib to add a touch of pink ink.

Mandalas have such a healing effect! Thanks for sharing this!!!
Tammy, the colors from your Rose fountain pen ink is very cool, looks like you used more than one ink! Seems to have a lighter and darker undertones.
Eden, The ink is really wonderful, it is my favorite color thus far. Using a brush with the ink you can dilute w/water to make the color more transparent. The ink in the Rapidograph writes full strength (deepest magenta) but with the brush you can vary the color. I like the simplicity of using one color. ~ Tammy
