Line After Line
Wed, January 5, 2011 at 10:00AM "Narrow minds devoid of imagination.
Intolerance, theories cut off from reality,
empty terminology, usurped ideals, inflexible systems.
Those are the things that really frighten me.
What I absolutely fear and loathe."
— Haruki Murakami

5x8" watercolor moleskine, pitt pen
Waiting to pick up the kiddos before the holiday break, I sat at a cafe. Trusty pitt pen in hand, hooked to a podcast. Drew. And drew. The lines are almost obsessive.
Yet I can't imagine not drawing.

This is so cool! I love the quote at the top too.
Love it. My doodling is similarly obsessive :)
Love this--There must be something in the air. I can't seem to stop doodling various triangles with lines and flowers also with lines. It's so meditative, isn't it?
wow!
seriously wow :)
the patience and control this would take impresses me so much!!! your lines are so straight!
Michelle, Mary Beth, Joy, Libby, Thx for stopping in, hope you are all doing well. The lines in my stuff aren't always this obsessive, but I've got to admit this was really relaxing to do!

This is AMAZING!! Wow!!
Wonderful Murakami quote!
Wow that drawing is so detailed & pretty.
With help from your very useful art materials lists and advice - I have finally upgraded to some Indian Ink Pitt art pens & they're lovely to use. I got lots of lovely new art stuff for Christmas which made a wonderful change from the normal practical stuff I feel I should buy with money given to me!
Happy New Year!
