Links: Doing Art With Children (Part 3)

Two projects from Art Projects for Kids:

  • Year End Accordian Book ~ per Kathy, "This can be a quick journal project for your child to record some of their favorite memories from last year, or write hopes and wishes for the new one." This could help understand the passing of time... as one section per month, four seasons, annual events, etc.
  • Watercolor Resist Patterns look like doodlicious fun.

Make hand-stitched cards at Make and Takes, including patterns and photo tutorial. A good mom-kid art project.

A messy Tie-Dye paper project from Thrifty Fun using shaving cream and food coloring.

The 10 Best Art Museums for Kids from Parents magazine, with an extended list of other museums to explore.

Step-by-step instructions for creating hand-dyed fabrics at Fabric Dyeing 101.

Netflix Origami project using the excess from those infamous Netflix envelopes.
