Little Bits of Time

5x8" lined moleskine, reposted from 2008

For everyone who doesn't have solid blocks of art time, you can really accomplish a lot by using little bits of time and building drawings, doodles, embroidery, a lot of possibilities. This is a doodle I made about 3 years ago in a 5x8" lined moleskine. I worked on it in small blocks of time, and each time I started again, I could look at it with a fresh perspective. I used PITT pens, Sakura microns and gellyrolls for lots of different colors.

Beautiful! Have you thought about doing a set of these... and then framing them in a grid... a la quilt style.

Amy, Fabulous idea. A grid of flowy patterns.... I am so psyched about how this turned out!

These patterns are great. Would also make beautiful textiles.

Wow, your creativity is amazing and strewn wonderfully across this wonderful picture. It is inspirational to see your drawing in the moleskine book. I draw strange stuff like this Hairy Flower Biscuit if you care to look.
