No Frills Prompt 14: SYMMETRY

Weekly creative prompts that are simple, flexible and fully customizable.

a corner view at the dallas museum of art

Like all of the prompts in this series, this is easy peasy! You can respond in whatever way you wish, but do create something in words or images. The photograph and the word SYMMETRY can be used together or separately. Don't overthink this, see the intro for help.

IDEAS...

♦ photograph morning light streaming through a window

♦ create an art journal background using the colors rust, cream and a touch of green

♦ carve an eraser stamp in the shape of an arm chair

♦ doodle a page symmetrically; fold the page in the center and make the sides match

I used the symmetry-creating feature on OmniSketch to do some electronic doodling. Two of the results are at: http://daily-good-thing.blogspot.com/2011/02/227-tba.html. Thanks for an excuse to experiment!
