Weekly creative prompts that are simple, flexible and fully customizable.

This is easy peasy! Feel free to respond in whatever way you wish, but do create something in words or images in response to this creative prompt. The photograph and the word CURVE can be used together or separately. Don't overthink this, see the intro for help.

IDEAS...

♦ create an art journal page where journaling is in the shape of a swirl

♦ photograph 9 objects with curves {not circles or ovals}

♦ set the timer for 20 minutes; design 20 different doodle patterns that incorporate swirls

♦ photograph 5 interesting shadows

Check out the guide to the No Frills Prompts!

INTERPRETATIONS?

A note about the prompts. Please feel free to do any of the previous 15 No Frills prompts. All comments at Daisy Yellow actually go to the same spot for me to read, so leave a comment with the URL to your interpretation (even if it's at Flickr) and I'll add your link to the prompt. Interest in the No Frills prompts is growing, based on the emails I'm receiving. If you email your link or leave it in a comment, it's a great way to get visibility for your blogs and everyone is motivated by seeing how other people have interpreted the prompt. So join any time!

Blogged my curves here Tammy!! http://alteredartandstuff.wordpress.com/2011/03/13/another-shade-of-green/

I have recommended Daisy Yellow to the girls at the Strathmore online visual journalling workshops because some of them are struggling to get started. Have received some very positive feedback! =)
