Pages Prepped for Journaling

A background for art journaling, a super simple pretty page. I drew a grid around the page in pitt pen. [The photo shows 1/4 of the page]. Then I challenged myself to watercolor all of the squares in 10 minutes, when lunch would be ready! It actually took 14 minutes and I was seriously rushing toward the end. I'm such a spaz that I flipped my brush across the table trying to move it too quickly!

The page could be collaged, used for a list, documenting a day, etc. It would look cool on really small paper.

To make this background, I drew a frame around the page, painted around it in blues and purples and grays, then drew the lines for slow journaling. Super simple.
