Productive multi-smashing of acrylics

If you are going to smash paints, you might as well multi-task. So I smashed pages in the exacompta, a loose art journal background and an index card or three. For the exacompta pages, I actually started with a layer of peachy paint, then played around with the japanese brush I found at the craft store, with dry brushes of black paints on the first layer. When I started smashing, it sort of rubbed off some of the black dry brush marks which was a neat effect but I'm not sure I could replicate it!
Smashing is seriously messy. Use protection.

Wow that looks like fun - I certainly feel like smashing not only my paints but my paintings on a regular basis. I LOVE color ... apparently so do you.

I´m one to multitask as well. How do you smash your paints?
✭✭✭ {Tammy}: Paula, There's a bit of info in this post: http://daisyyellow.squarespace.com/vividlife/getting-into-flow-smashing-acrylics.html Basically you put several drops of paint here and there on your page and close the pages so that they "stamp" each other with paint splotches. You can smash an index card or another sheet of paper on as well.
