Prompt: Palette
Sun, August 9, 2009 at 02:37PM
Build a page around the colors of a palette of art materials! You can do a palette of any shape or size, using any medium. What about a palette of embroidery floss stitched on watercolor paper? An array of labeled colored pencils that looks like a piano? A work-in-process grid of fluid acrylics or neocolors, to keep track of what you own? Pop your colors on the page randomly or in a preferred order. Develop an art journal page, an ATC, a poem, doodle, journaling, short story, haiku, back cover book blurb, whatever you wish, using the prompts as a muse or creative spark. Post a link to your work in the comments; I promise I will visit!

Yikes! It was your "color chart" of Neocolors that sent me on a hunt-down-and-claim-for-my-own a few months ago -- the cost is never to be mentioned in my house... Great prompt!
Karyl, Lucky you! Time for another color search across the web. May the force be with you! ~ Tammy
