Simple City

"The problem is not that there are problems.
The problem is expecting otherwise
and thinking that having problems is a problem."
Theodore Rubin

This is the 4th work in the series of cityscapes on 9.5x12" Clairefontaine watercolor paper. The original plan was to draw details on the painted buildings, but I liked it as it was.

I've participated in Creative Every Day for awhile now. It is a simple idea, yet so powerful. Just do something creative. An extra bonus is the ability to explore the works/blogs of other creatives participating in the challenge. Each week, you check in with a link/comment about your endeavors, and you get to see what others are working on.

It was during one of these explorations that I discovered The Kat Eye view of the world. Kat, an American living in Italy, often selects one of her photographs, such as Farewall Assisi, and talks about the photo, the situation, the perspective, etc. In this piece, Kat noticed something on the return that she hadn't noticed before, because the perspective had of course changed.
