Star Catcher

"Now I know that our world is no more permanent than a wave rising on the ocean. Whatever our struggles and triumphs, however we may suffer them, all too soon they bleed into a wash, just like watery ink on paper."

Beautiful mandala, and I love the quote that you used. Fits perfectly with this expression. A very happy continuation of Art every day month! This month I am continuing with a course I am on: Chakra journeying through my sketchbook and also participating in NaNoWriMo. The very best to you, in all that life brings. Much love and light ~ Ana

That is stunning. Absolutely beautiful. I love this star catcher.
Today didn't go so well for me art wise but I'm looking forward to tomorrow. AEDM is proving great fun; especially being introduced to so many inspirational people.
Thanks for sharing
Kat :-)

All: Wow! We had an afternoon play date (school's on break) and returned to find such wonderfulness in these comments. I did this one differently - drew much of it - then started coloring (thinking of Eden shouting "ADD COLOR") and adding more lines in pitt pen, more coloring. Usually I draw the entire mandala and then add color (if any). This was much more interesting as it developed more organically (doesn't that sound cool).
