Stuck?

"We all sorely complain of the shortness of time,
and yet have much more than we know what to do with.
Our lives are either spent in doing nothing at all,
or in doing nothing to the purpose,
or in doing nothing that we ought to do.
We are always complaining that our days are few,
and acting as though there would be no end of them."

I have just this week dug out my sketchbook after many months of neglect, with a view to getting back into the habit of fitting creativity into those little chunks of time (the minutes!) that I have on the busiest of days. How strange that I should read this entry of yours moments after coming across a similarly-themed quote in my sketchjournal! I was about to prep a page with a wash for what I hope will be a weekend sketch, and came upon the line: "Millions long for immortality who do not know what to do with themselves on a rainy Sunday afternoon" - Susan Ertz. :)

E-J, I love that quote! Quite a coincidence, I might add. Happy journaling... ~ Tammy

I love this quote because it is soooo true. Really, when it comes down to it, isn't it just all a matter of priorities????!!!
