Surprise

"Facts, and facts alone, are the foundation of science...
When one devotes oneself to experimental research
it is in order to augment the sum of known facts,
or to discover their mutual relations."
~ François Magendie

5x8" watercolor moleskine journal, pitt pen, Sakura gellyrolls

A challenge makes it even more fun to draw. If you are an analytical thinker, try adding challenges to your doodles, some sort of rule or constraint to work within. Doodle sudoku if you will. The challenge here was simply to draw a different pattern on each half of each ray or petal...

*Sam, Eden, Terri and Chaotic Beauty: Thx for the positive feedback, I wasn't quite sure how it would be received! The process of drawing mandalas is clearly addictive. In a good way.
