color series and kick start your art journal are my two favorites but really i like them all!
Collection: ideas everywhere and Creative experiments. If I had children, I would add Rainy Day links.
Creative Experiments!
I love reading all your posts :) Truly, I find something in almost everyone of them. I don't have children of my own, but I do have 2 nieces and 1 nephew. Often when I'm visiting there, we'll sit at the big table and we do art together. The youngest is just 5, the next is 8 and the eldest is 9. Sometimes we each do our own thing and other times they want me to show them how to do something. So all your ideas for creating art with childremn are especially useful, not just about the developemental stages, but the actual ideas of what topics to do with them.
Another thing I learned from your posts is about kids and cameras. Based on your tips and ideas, we recently bought a simple camera for our 8 year old nephew for his 1st Communion. We hadn't known ahead of time (they live abroad), but he had taken a short course at summer camp about the very basics of photogrphy: composition, framing, lighting etc. He really enjoyed the course and has taken some really good photos already. When he opened his present he was ecstatic!! We were happy because we found something that really intrests him. I had an idea he would like it because he was always asking me about my cameras and wanting to see how I did something.
I love reading about journalling prompts and tips! I keep an art journal sort of on and off, but I really want to get more into it. Your journalling series is awesome and I've tried several things I wouldn't have thought of trying. Ditto for the creativity experiments.
I follow your Blog via Bloglines and that tells me when there are new posts to read. That way I don't miss any of them :)
Thanks for such fabulous ideas, tips and topics to thnik about. You have a wonderful writing style and your attitude to life mirrors something of mine. I love reading your Blog!!
I'm voting for 2: creative experiments and kids and cameras. If your mandala doodles were a series, I vote for them too. I'm a quiet lurker here but I really enjoy and look forward to your posts. Thanks for taking all the trouble to do this.
Definitely "Kick Start your Art Journal" and the "Creativity Prompts" (They're SO creative!!!) Hugs, Terri xoxo
I would have to say Kick-Start Your Art Journal, followed closely by Creative Experiments.
I enjoy ALL of your posts.
Thanks! Karla
I love the kick start your art journal.
I really like how the color series and the kick-start have a list of prompts/ideas, and they both are my favs! I will be starting with the color: journaling in neutral because it is such a foreign color palette.
Thanks for the inspiration!
No, that's too difficult - I think they're all brilliant. If you really twisted my arm (ow!) I would say my current favourite is the Kids and cameras series, closely followed by all the rest :-)
The least useful has been the kids book links, as many are difficult to get hold of here. If that helps ;-)
Hi Tammy,
I found your site through Maggiecats (I do miss her) some time ago. I check your site almost everyday. I love all of your series and other ideas, projects, photos, and articles. I'm having a hard time choosing a favorite. I guess "Kick-Start Your Art Journal" and "Creative Experiments." i do not have children, however I have lots of children in my life. In fact, I will be going to Holden Beach, N.C. with a family that has a 5 yearold and a 7 year old (both girls) in a couple of weeks. They both love crafts and taking pictures. It will be a lot of fun and many of your ideas will go along with us.
Thanks for all of your time and all of your sharing.
You are a good soul.
I just cannot pick one favorite serie. Because of the variety of your blog it is such a pleasure to visit.
Honestly, I don't think I would be able to choose just one. I have enjoyed them all, a few several times. I enjoy learning new things or new ways of doing old things. Your blog is quite a treat and I look forward to it everyday.
Kick start your art journal is my very favorite but i love every one of them!
Peace & Love,
~Barb~
My favorites are the creative experiments and anything art journal related, BUT I love them all. I've always worked with kids and find that I still am one...just old and wrinkled! You do so well with all of the subjects -- thank you for sharing!
All of the above! I cannot choose! I read everything!
Kick Start your Art Journal ~ rocks!!
Oh, Creative Experiments.
