Wishing Jars

wish jars, pittsburgh children's museum collection

I found a little magic wand and a bunch of wish jars.

If you had one extra hour today, a magical bonus hour just for art, what would you create?

wow... did you make these?

Lindsay, I just added a little description about the wish jars - they are actually a photograph of a display at the Pittsburgh Children's Museum!

I'd absolutely work in my art journal with my spritz watercolors and my stamps. Not for class, not for anything but myself. Maybe I WILL give myself a gift of an hour today!

I think I'm actually going to spend at least an hour today.... anyways, I'd for sure work in my art journal. I've been wanting to work on a page with lots of layers, color, and collage elements - probably some papers and gum wrappers.

My gift to myself was an hour of drawing in my moleskine, more kooky doodles!

Went to photograph them, the light coming in the window was so nice, after a few shots the camera's aperture was stuck closed so little light will come in the lens. The camera is broken. The warranty has expired. CRUD. It's always something

...off to the supermarket.

Hello,

I recently compiled a list of the Top 20 art blogs for educators, and I just
wanted to let you know that you made the list! It
is published online at
http://www.onlinedegrees.org/top-20-art-blogs-for-educators/.

Thanks so much, and if you think your audience would find useful
information in the list or on the site, please feel free to share the
link. The blog is just starting up, so we always appreciate a link
back as we're trying to increase readership.

Thanks again, and have a great day!

Maria
